Increasing the survival rate of early-phase startups, and ensuring an increase in female participation in entrepreneurship and employment in the private sector.

The Business Development program will target both entrepreneurs with startups as well as university students and fresh graduates. Each target audience will have access to programs suited to their needs.

Startups will have access to a specialized business program, carefully designed using research and specifically tailored to suit Iraq’s context. Our startups will benefit from knowledge and expertise during the initial stages of their projects. The aim of this program is to considerably decrease the high first year failure ratio of startups in the country. Additionally, to ensure an increase in female participation in business and the private sector, every program will include a female empowerment component.

The Business Development program will also offer capacity building programs for students, graduates and aspiring entrepreneurs who require basic trainings, introductions to business development and/or wish to brush up on their soft skills.
